Tolerance Setting
】
Every chiller has a tolerance value setting (F1) of 1-60. For example, I set the starting temperature to 79°F and the tolerance value to 2, then when the chiller detects that the temperature of the chiller’s water is 79°F, the chiller will automatically run and cool down until the water temperature is 77°F. Repeat cycle to cool down.

Cooling Effect
】
The cooling temp is affected by the ambient temp and the size of the fish tank. For example, the room temp is 77℉, using AL-160, the water with a capacity of 150L can drop to75-78℉. For 35 gal/132L is almost down to 73℉and if you want to drop below 68F, the water volume is recommended to be below 80L. If you want to achieve a better cooling effect, it is recommended to choose a larger model AL-300.

Attention for Use
1. A lot of heat is generated around the chiller?
The compressor will release a certain amount of heat during the cooling process, so we need to leave enough space for the chiller to dissipate heat. The heat generation means that the compressor is working normally.
2. Chiller is not cooling?
Please note that only when the water circulation is normal, the chiller can effectively cooling water.
If no circulation: the pump is placed too high, causing the water flow pressure to be too high or the pump is broken, we can resend the pump if is broken.
Good heat dissipation is the key to ensuring effective cooling. Please leave at least 6 inch /15cm of space for enough heat dissipation.
3. The temperature displayed on the screen is inconsistent with the water temperature measured by other thermometers?
The influence of external factors: such as the lights in the fish tank.
The temperature measurement position is wrong: because the chiller detects the overall water temperature of the fish tank, the customer’s own thermometer measures the water temperature at a certain measurement location.
The controller is wrong: consider temperature calibration F2
4. Temperature fluctuation？
If there is a temperature fluctuation problem, please pay attention to it at all times and record the corresponding video so that we can solve the problem for you.
Test Your Chiller Before Connecting to Aquariums
Please check the pipe connection if leakage:
Put the pump and pipe in a bucket with water, and put the chiller in the a tub without water
Power up the chiller, run for a while, and check for leaks
If the chiller has no leak and everything works great, install it where you need it
Why does the chiller leak?
Incorrect pipe installation: check the pipe connection, pay attention to the sealing rings
Long-term use which may cause the water pipe connection to become loose or larger, and water leakage may occasionally occur: try to add some vacuum grease to the pipe
