Description
We do not guarantee a color matchThere are
two shades
of AT&T ivory trimline phones. This
store brand
cord is for the newer versions. It is almost white with a slight yellow tint.
We have sold
hundreds of thousands
of cords by this manufacturer. We buy them by the pallet, passing the savings on to you. They are made in China (like nearly all handset cords) and have gold plated contacts. They are lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, and PBDE free.
Each end has about an inch without curl. Each is new in a plastic sleeve.
If your phone is older and darker you probably want the traditional H4DU-50 color. Search for Ivory Trimline Handset Cord H4DU-50. The H4DU-50 color is sort of creamy.
If your phone has a lot of pink to it you may want a beige cord. Our beige cord has a lot of pink! Search for Beige Trimline Handset Cord. Unfortunately the word beige gets applied to a lot of different colors.
Light colored phones tend to fade to a smokey yellow tint. If you lift the receiver and the cradle is a different color you are dealing with fading. Then color matching is not possible.
This cord works on any phone with a modular connector. Some trimline phones over 30 years old used a special cord that requires a tool to replace. Other phones over 30 years old used hard-wired (aka spade tip) cords. If your cord simply "clicks" in place, this cord will work fine.
If your phone has faded
this cord won't match.
Length:
Relaxed the curly part of this cord is about 40 inches long,
NOT 25 FEET
. This manufacturer calls it a 25 foot cord because 25 feet of material is goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing, but it's the industry standard.
25 foot cords
should not be used
on desk phones unless precautions are taken. The cord needs to hang by its own weight to keep the coils from tangling. This holds true for any manufacturer. De-tanglers won't help.
