Description
Here we havea single stunning vintage "art glass" crystal piece of stemware from the legendary French crystal master maker
Baccarat
in their iconic pattern
Malmaison
,
which was discontinued after approximately a century of production, beginning in 1910. We have several dozens of tall wine goblets and extra-tall water goblets from an estate collection of varying vintage, so we have divided them into separate listings by their approximate heights. As with all stemware produced over a long period of time, sizes will vary slightly between those produced in the early decades of the production run, and those produced in later decades, even when all are considered the same piece, as with our goblets. The differences can be minute but may matter to some, so we have listed them separately.
The piece available in this listing measures
approximately
:
8 1/16" in height
3 3/4" in diameter
Condition
: Our photos are a very important part of our condition report. Please review them carefully to help you determine if the piece meets your needs, standards and expectations, and if you're unsure about anything, message us! We're here to help! As shown within the circles in the photos, this piece has two very small chips (one may be small enough to qualify as a fleabite) on the edge of the bowl. Otherwise, it is in excellent to excellent-plus, vintage condition. It is very clean and fresh, and bright, shiny and sparkly, with no other chips of any size, and no cracks of any size, stains, cloudiness, or hard water marks. It may also have a few very light tiny surface scratches, typical of careful use, but none that are deep, thick or in any way eye-catching.
We have dozens of goblets available in our store in this pattern, and we are happy to provide a quote for bulk shipping -- please message us with your zip code and the number of goblets desired
. We are very experienced in shipping fragile China and crystal of various sizes and shapes together. We double-box and use whatever materials necessary to ensure that fragile treasures survive the absolute worst shippers can throw at them. We check rates for USPS, UPS and Fed Ex to make sure that we provide the lowest possible rate. The rate shown in this listing is for one goblet. Should you go ahead and purchase more than one without checking with us for the bulk shipping rate, please be assured that we will refund overpayments for shipping beyond the actual cost to us.
We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (
or anything else
) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
We're happy to
combine shipping at actual cost on all pieces
purchased and paid for
on one single invoice/order.
In order to take advantage of this shipping cost savings, you must, must, must combine all of your pieces into one order and pay for all of them at once.
The easiest way to do this is to place items in your cart, and then to purchase them as a group from your cart.
If you're unable to get the Ebay checkout to combine your items into one order, do not pay. Back out of that mess and shoot us a message instead, asking for a combined invoice, and then wait to pay from that.
The Fine Print:
We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.
If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message.
We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.
Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
