    Corsan Denton Burdekin & Co Silver Cutlery Handled Bowie Knife With Sheath.
    Beautiful example of a classic side knife. Corsan Denton and Burdekin were in business from 1852-63. William Corsan is famous for writing "Two Months in the Confederate States".
    This knife was inexpertly cleaned at one point, see pictures for condition. The handle is secured but slightly loose. The sheath has a hole in the spine, and is leather covered in what is clearly a period repair. The brass nosecap and throat are present.
    Knife is 9" overall.
