Elegant, romantic oblong bead with an intriguing core of pale reduction frit
decorated with two beauteous lavender blossoms and some truly grand greenery.

Bead Width (side to side):  c. 19 mm (7/8 inch)
Bead Height (hole to hole): c. 37.5 mm (1-3/4 inch)
Hole Size: c. 3 mm (3/32 mandrel used)
We make our one-of-a-kind art glass beads in our back-porch studio.  We use minor burner torches with a variety of glasses, including Effetre/Moretti from Murano, Italy, as well as Kugler and Double Helix. Our pieces are formed and shaped primarily with gravity and the aid of paddles and presses, and annealed overnight in a digitally-controlled kiln. We then carefully clean and inspect each bead.
We photograph our beads in natural sunlight, weather permitting.  Colors and intensity may slightly vary on different computer monitors. Colors can also vary when beads are seen under different types of artificial lighting.
We are members of SRA, Self-Representing Artists, a group of glass artists dedicated to the art of lampworking, an ancient art form that flourished in Italy in the 1300's and then spread throughout Europe, the Americas and the rest of the world. We are also active with Lampwork Etc. (LE), an online community of glass artists.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
We use PayPal for payment processing.
Payment is expected within 3 days of sale completion.
SHIPPING and RETURNS
We ship within one business day of payment receipt.  We will send you either a tracking or delivery confirmation number.
U.S. Shipping
We offer FREE first class shipping in padded mailing envelopes. You can always upgrade to Priority Mail or Express Mail if you wish.
We will combine shipping whenever possible for multiple orders.
International Shipping
We will use the shipping calculator for this, as the rates can vary widely between destinations. We generally will use 1st Class Package International Service via the United States Postal Service. You have the option of upgrading to International Priority Mail if you wish. And again, we will do a combined invoice to keep charges to a minimum on multiple purchases.
As a buyer outside of the U.S. you are responsible for any import duties or fees that may apply in your particular country.
RETURNS
We gladly process returns if you notify us of any problems within 5 days of item receipt, and then return the item within 30 days of this notification.
