refurbished vacuum pumps have factory new diaphragm valves, chamber valves, Teflon sealing rings and chamber housings installed (others re-use old broken parts, sometimes from the wrong pumps or install counterfeit parts!). We also replace the poor quality thin-walled black vacuum tubing with upgraded thick walled, high purity degasser tubing (Better than factory quality), not the sometimes seen silicone, Nalgene or Tygon branded lab tubing you see in others sellers adverts
(those are the wrong types of tubing!)

In addition to testing vacuum rating, we professionally test each pump to measure their vacuum leakage under load (this is the parameter that determines if the pump meets specification, not vacuum level). . Analytical vacuum pump used in the HP/Agilent brand, model G1322A and G1379

model degassers only (1100, 1200, 1260-series) and some Shimadzu and ERC models too. This vacuum pump does NOT fit the model G1379
B
degasser ! These vacuum pumps are normal wear and tear parts, which on average, last about three to five years, depending on application, before requiring replacement. Pump replacement is a normal maintenance aspect of maintaining these degassers. Note: Before being discontinued by Agilent, their price was $ 753 USD each. We offer a professionally cleaned and rebuilt one for much less! (CS).
*For best results, please have someone with proper training install this part. Only install a new or refurbished vacuum pump in a system which is clean, leak free, has brand new high-purity vacuum tubing installed, clean vacuum chambers which do not have leaks or problems and
please
replace the 3-port valve at the same time (*they wear out and become contaminated at the same time as the pump). Failure to correctly diagnose what caused the vacuum pump to fail often means the replacement pump will also be damaged. You must repair the problem(s) FIRST, then replace the worn pump and other associated parts. We sell higher quality vacuum tubing kits and 3-port valves for far less than Agilent does (see our other items for sale). Failure to correctly diagnose the problem often results in more expensive damage to the system. It is for this reason we provide no warranty of any kind on part sales.

Troubleshooting Notes:
When the
Red status light
turns on, the module shuts down and must be repaired as the instrument is now considered "out-of-compliance" / "Fails Validation". Please have the degasser module serviced when the degasser's steady Yellow light stays 'ON' (not when you first turn it on, but after it has been on for more than ten minutes), before the RED light comes on. YELLOW means it no longer meets factory vacuum specification and is failing. Continuing to run it in this condition may result in more serious (costly) damage. When the status LED stays yellow all of the time or turns RED, the system should be professionally serviced. Have the system professionally diagnosed to find the cause of the failures before servicing. Vacuum pumps often fail due to OTHER problems, such as leaking vacuum chambers or valves.
