Generic Cherry Red 12 Ft Handset Cord Phone Coil Curly Receiver Vintage 1200RD

Description

This is a cherry red phone handset cord. It will work fine on many old phones but color will not match perfectly. It is pretty close (see the pictures). This cord will only work on Mickey phones that use the modular connector. Some required a hardwired "spade tip" cord. In general it will work on just about any phone made in the last 30 years
except
Crosley and some Coca Cola phones that have one or both ends "hardwired." If your cord "clips" in on both ends, this cord will work fine.

Length:
The maximum
practical
working length of this cord is 7 feet. Relaxed the coiled portion of this cord is about 18 to 20 inches long,
NOT 12 FEET
. Add a little more for the uncoiled portion on each end. It is called a 12 foot cord because 12 feet of material goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing but it's the standard.
A high quality receiver cord with
gold plated contacts
. It is used between the handset and the base of the phone. Manufacturer is unknown. These are new, but
not in a package
.
