A Must Have For The Serious DOORS Completist!
This KEY issue of Vibrations Magazine features one of the EARLIEST REVIEWS of THE DOORS.  I believe it is the
1st DOORS / Jim Morrison Magazine Cover
, plus more photos inside.  It is one of the hardest to find DOORS Memorabilia pieces; virtually never coming up for sale and always demanding a Premium!  With MILLIONS of Devout Fans, only a very few will have this piece in their collection.  DON'T MISS OUT!
The Doors are one of the more popular bands to come out of the 1960s rock scene. The group gained fame and notoriety shortly after its formation, largely due to its wild and charismatic lead singer, Jim Morrison. Morrison was widely regarded as a modern poet and rock hero, but he died in 1971 at the age of 27. The group disbanded shortly afterwards, though it reformed from time to time throughout the years. There are plenty of The Doors collectibles out there, but few of these items date from the band's original run.
Nearly Impossible To Find!! This is an incredible, 1960's, Boston-area, music magazine that was not around for very long and was always issued in very small print runs. The Vibrations Magazines always had a very small distribution, published by Insight Publications.  Add to that the facts that this is a key piece of history for THE DOORS and not many copies survived; making issues almost impossible to find.  Usually only 1 copy comes up every 5 years or less, SO DON'T MISS OUT! This is an extremely RARE and COOL piece of Music Memorabilia. I have had many requests for this magazine over the years, but this is the 1st time in 14+ years I have been able to offer one for sale.
This is the October, 1967 edition of Vibrations Magazine, published in Boston, Massachusetts.  This is the key 3rd issue featuring The Doors! The 1st two issues were of a smaller size than the rest, this 3rd issue was the 1st to be of the larger size, measuring 8½ x 11 inches. They have beautiful, glossy paper covers!
Although this is obviously a DOORS collectible, there is more great stuff in this Vibrations issue!
16 internal pages + covers (4 pages: outside & inside / front & back covers)
    The Mothers - Absolutely Free
    The Hollies - Evolution
The Bee Gees - Bee Gee 1st
    The Yardbirds - Little Games
    Cream Live!
    Procol Harum
The back cover features a hard to find Tim Buckley Photo advertisement for his album Goodbye And Hello
    and more!.
This magazine is 50 years old this year and is in VERY NICE condition for its age, with TONS of EYE-APPEAL! Please check out all the BIG PICS and make your own decision on condition!
The Very Large photos are NOT stock photos and are of the actual item you will receive.
    PLEASE NOTE:
    BEST OFFERS PRICES
    DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING
, even if you add a comment that says 'my offer includes shipping' . . . IT DOESN'T.  eBay's logic is not sophisticated enough to deal with this, so please be sure to factor in shipping separately from your offer. If you do put in any condition text into your best offer, eBay's Auto-Accept feature is blocked for your offer.  Why is that important?  I had somebody put in a Best Offer and added the condition "Thank You", which was nice, but it kept their offer from being auto-accepted.  Later that night, before I saw the offer, somebody else bought the item at full price.  Good For Me . . . Not good for the 1st buyer.
Check out my Feedback and you can see that I aim to please!
    Did I mention Satisfaction Guaranteed!?
From a SMOKE FREE & PET FREE location.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING INCLUDES INSURANCE AND EBAY FINAL VALUE FEES!
Due to the value of this item the domestic shipping includes insurance costs. Also, as of July 2011, eBay started charging their FVF (Final Value Fee) on shipping / insurance costs, this means I have to pad the handling to cover the additional eBay fees.
    INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS EXPENSIVE!!
I have had to increase my handling fees on international orders due to the higher percentage of international shipments that seem to get lost, even though I use tracking on all my items.  If you feel that the international shipping charges are too high, please do not purchase.
    ImaPaqRat Return Policy:
In most cases I do offer returns, I just am not opting into the new eBay Managed Return Process.  Unless my listing specifically states, "SOLD AS IS!" or "RETURNS NOT ACCEPTED" in the description, I will accept returns if contacted within 7 days of the item being received.  eBay's new Managed Return Process has too many holes and puts another barriers between the buyer and the seller.  If you are unhappy for any reason with your purchase, please contact me through the eBay Messaging process so I can work with you.  Unfortunately, eBay has made a change to their system so sellers cannot offer returns managed by the seller, the seller is force now to either use eBay Manage Returns or select "No Returns Accepted" as the business policy.  Hopefully eBay will see the error in their ways and go back to the system that was working fine. I do appreciate your understanding.
    SATISFACTION GUARANTEE:
If unsatisfied you will receive a full refund of the purchase price once the item is returned in the same condition as shipped.
NO SUCH THING AS FREE SHIPPING!
The fallacy of ‘Free Shipping’, according to ImaPaqRat:
If the seller provides ‘Free Shipping’ it means they have already factored in the full cost of shipping into their pricing. If you happen to buy 10 items from that seller, you are paying full shipping on 10 items even though they may ship them all in one box. I on the other hand post the shipping cost and if a buyer buys more than 1 item, I can provide them with a consolidated shipping discount. If you win more than 1 item from me, please contact me, before you pay so I can send you a consolidated invoice.
    CONSOLIDATED SHIPPING:
I do offer consolidated shipping whenever possible, but my 1st priority is to ensure your items are received safely.
If you are buying more than 1 item, please contact me when you are done so I may send you a consolidated invoice.  PLEASE DO NOT PAY THEN ASK ME TO CONSOLIDATE THE SHIPPING!
To take advantage of consolidated handling fees you must make a single payment, within 7 days of the first auctions end date.
    FEEDBACK POLICY:
We do provide honest feedback for all transactions, but only after feedback has been left for us first.  Sorry but we have had a few erroneous negative feedbacks, after we had already left our positive feedback.
If you have any problems with your purchase(s), please contact us via email before leaving feedback.
We will do everything we can to correct any misunderstandings
    .
Thank You for looking at our Item.  We appreciate your business.
