The data cable connects the Oculus 2 to the notebook and it doesn’t respond. The notebook shows that it’s not connected and the battery doesn’t charge. Is this because of power supply problems? Need power from the hub or can only connect to a desktop computer?
A:
1. You can try to connect to an external power supply, it may be caused by insufficient power supply;
2. Oculus 2 and this series of VR have an independent platform software. You can view and read data in the software, including opening a series of games. If you don't view it through this software, you can't check the connection status;
3. It is recommended that you can find a desktop computer to try. The integrated graphics card and graphics processor of the notebook are not as good as the desktop. The notebook with too low configuration can not drive large-scale games, nor can it bring VR products.

Step 1:
Before starting the installation, please make sure that your computer has sufficient graphics processing capabilities-the most direct way is to check your graphics card version. The official recommendation of Oculus VR is NVIDIA GTX 970/980 or above;
Step 2:
The actual installation has just begun: download and install the corresponding installation program from Oculus official website oculus.com/setup. The whole process will last 30-60 minutes, the total size is 1.22G, and the whole process needs to be connected to the Internet;
Step 3:
After the installation is over, the program will prompt you to create your own Oculus account. Players who already have an Oculus account can skip this step and synchronize with the headset.
