    The lightweight and practical Plantronics APP-43 Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) cable connects to your telephone to allow you to answer and end calls with your Plantronics headset when you are away from your phone. It is completely electronic and therefore does not require a mechanical device to lift the handset.
    The Plantronics family of wireless headsets are intended to work with a wide scope of telephone systems. Plantronics has built up the Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) range to enable customers to answer and end calls away from their desks. This is particularly significant where the physical design of the telephone does not allow for the use of Plantronics traditional HL10 lifter which also performs this function.
