Description

Civil War Rifle M1862 Remington Zouave Saber Bayonet with reproduction Scabbard. Bayonet measures 25" overall with a blade length of 20". Blade shows some light gray patina spots around ricasso area of blade. Blade has over 90% original finish. Cross-guard stamped, "C" on both sides, ricasso area of blade appears to have a partial "L" stamp, Spine area of handle has inspector's markings, " B.H." Brass handle shows some edge wear, small dings. Top of cross-guard marked, "S". Excellent working press-stud. The reproduction scabbard is in excellent condition overall. A very nice piece.
