Condition:
These devices were tested to power on only.
These units are listed as "for parts or not working" because we don't have the expertise to properly test the units. These devices came from a working lab at a major university but no information concerning functionality was available to us.
As with all used laboratory, medical, & industrial
equipment you should expect to fully test, repair, & certify the device before using.
Included:
Only the Varian CP3800 GC and the Varian MS4000.  No peripheral hardware, software or manuals are included. Both units come with a power cable.

Shipping:
This item will need to be shipped via freight due to size & weight.
Buyer will need to make their own freight shipping arrangements
- we can strap the items on a pallet & overbox the units (if requested) for the cost of the work / supplies.  Shipping arrangements will need to include any desired shipping insurance as we will not be responsible for the shipment once it leaves our location. We can deliver the palletized shipment to the FedEx freight warehouse (zip 77303) to avoid the 0 charge that FedEx charges for a liftgate truck (we do not have a high dock). Otherwise, the shipping arrangements would need to include a liftgate at the items location (77381).

Standard Warranty & Returns Policy:
When we make a mistake, we fix it. We may replace the item, exchange it, provide replacement parts, or issue a refund (after the item is returned). We may request pictures orother information to help us process the return.
If you are simply unhappy with your item through no error of ours, you may still return it within 14 days. We will refund $ for the item only, not including outbound or return shipping charges.
Items not part of our standard warranty & return policy are:
(1.) Items listed with the following descriptors: "as-is", "no returns", "no warranty", or "no refunds".
(2) Items damaged in shipment.
(3) Brand new and sealed items, if opened.
Shipping In
formation:
We process and ship orders twice per week - within 3 days of payment.
Shipping may include service by UPS Ground, FedEx ground, USPS First Class Mail, or USPS Media Mail - we reserve the right to choose the best available carrier regardless of what is in the listing. No P.O. Boxes please.
We generally use EBay's calculated shipping, plus a small packaging fee to cover shipping related materials used. We do not attempt to profit from shipping.
We ship only to "confirmed" PayPal addresses - PayPal requires an adult signature at the "confirmed" PayPal address if winning bid is 0 or more.
We
DO NOT
ship to any International, Canada, HI, AK or APO/FPO address.
We try to ship items within the time estimated. Large items may incur additional delays.
We can generally combine multiple shipments. Please request an invoice
prior to sending payment
to take advantage of combined shipping.
Shipping via UPS ground / FedEx ground is not available to P.O. boxes.
Local Pickup is always an option at no charge assuming we incur no extra cost associated with that pickup
Payments
Payment is due within 48 hours of bidding on auction items - we reserve the right to re-list un-paid items after 48 hours.
We prefer payment via PayPal - other methods available for +00 items purchased.
Sales tax of 8.25% will be applied to all sales within Texas, unless a valid tax exempt certificate is presented.
